Fragrance bases are ready-to-use carrier formulations that you can blend with fragrance oils or essential oils to create your own perfumes, body care products, or home fragrances. They take the complexity out of formulating from scratch.

Do I need any experience to use your products?

Not at all! Our bases are designed for both beginners and experienced perfumers. Each product includes usage guidelines to help you get started.

How much fragrance oil do I add to a base?

This depends on the base type, but a general guideline is 10–20% fragrance oil by volume. Always start with a lower percentage and adjust to your preference.

Do you ship nationwide?

Yes! We deliver across South Africa. Shipping times and costs will be calculated at checkout.

How long does delivery take?

Delivery typically takes 5–7 business days depending on your location within South Africa.

What is your return policy?

Due to the nature of our products, we do not accept returns on opened items. If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, please contact us within 48 hours at info@the-perfume-library.co.za.
